Visit Westward Ho! Beach
Westward Ho! is a traditional seaside resort with a sandy beach ideal for swimming in the rock pools and surfing. This resort was founded in the 1860’s, and has been a favourite seaside spot eversince.
There is lots to do, with tourist attractions including an amusement arcade, golf putting green, tennis courts, playground for the kids, beach shops, and a choice of places to eat and drink.
Fancy a round of Golf? head to the Royal North Devon Golf club, or grab your surfboard and take to the waves.
There are also great walks to take at nearby Kipling Tor (named after Rudyard Kipling) or explore the Northam Burrows Country Park.
