Appledore Beach in North Devon sits on the estuary of the Taw and Torridge rivers looking across to Instow Beach. The sandy beach is popular with families in the summer.

In August the beach is home to the The World Championship Crabbing Competition, which is part of the Appledore and Instow Regatta week bring visitors from far and wide.
