Instow Beach

Visit Instow Beach

Instow Beach is a sandy beach backed by dunes, in the Torridge estuary on the North Devon Coast.

The beautiful scenery and views across the water to Appledore attract artists from around the country. The waters are good for fishing and sailing. There are shops and places to eat in the village after a long day out.

For walkers and cyclists the popular Tarka Trail starts at Instow.
