Cawsand Bay

Cawsand Bay is a sand and shingle beach, in a charming 17th Century fishing village looking out towards Plymouth Sound. The beach is sheltered and great for swimming.

Downderry Beach

Downderry Beach is a large sand and shingle beach, popular with families, with rock pools exposed at low tide.

East Looe Beach

East Looe Beach is a wide flat sandy, dog-free beach – Dogs are banned all year round on this beach. It’s a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and sandcastle building. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including cafes, shops, and restaurants.

Finnygook Beach

Finnygook Beach in Portwrinkle is a popular sandy beach, great for a day out, and when the conditions are good, surfing is possible. There are plenty of rock pools to explore and the beach is surrounded by cliffs, providing a stunning backdrop.

Great Perhaver Beach

Great Perhaver Beach just east of Gorran Haven on the Cornwall coast, is an unspoilt secluded spot, accessible only by foot along the South West Coast Path. The beach is a great place to relax and soak up the scenery.

Hannafore Beach

Hannafore Beach is just west of Looe, Hannafore is a rocky beach which looks out towards Looe Island (also known as St. George’s Island). It’s a great spot for rock pooling and there are plenty of opportunities for fishing and boating.

Kingsand Beach

Kingsand Beach next to Cawsand Beach is a lovely sandy beach popular with families. The beach is sheltered and great for swimming and sunbathing, and there are plenty of amenities nearby, including cafes, shops, and pubs.

Hoodny Cove

Hoodny Cove in Portwrinkle is just west of the village, with a small harbour. The beach is a mix of sand and shingle, and there are plenty of rock pools to explore.

Lansallos Cove

Lansallos Cove is a small sheltered sand and shingle beach reached on foot about a 20-minute walk from the village of Lansallos. It’s a great spot for swimming and sunbathing and there are plenty of opportunities for coastal walks in the surrounding area.

Lantic Bay

Lantic Bay is an unspoilt south-facing sandy beach on the Cornwall coast. The secluded beach is accessible only by foot along the South West Coast Path and is a great spot for swimming and sunbathing.

Lantivet Beach

Lantivet Beach is a dog-friendly beach that can be reached by foot from Polruan or Pencarrow Head. The beach is a mix of sand and shingle and is a great spot for rock pooling and beachcombing.

Millendreath Beach

Millendreath Beach, just east of Looe, is a south-facing sandy beach with rock pools to explore. The beach is sheltered and great for swimming and sunbathing, and there are plenty of opportunities for water sports such as kayaking and paddleboarding.

Plaidy Beach

Plaidy Beach is a lovely beach to visit on the Cornwall coast. This beach is usually fairly quiet, and perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. There are plenty of rock pools to explore and it’s a great spot for fishing.

Polperro Beach

Polperro is a traditional Cornish fishing village, with a small harbour beach. Visit the Polperro Heritage Museum of Smuggling and Fishing for a glimpse into the village’s past, or explore the narrow streets and colorful houses.

Ready Money Cove

Ready Money Cove is a small sandy beach just south of the harbour town of Fowey. The beach is sheltered and great for swimming and sunbathing, and ideal for coastal walks.

Seaton Beach

Seaton Beach is a beautiful beach located near Looe, and is a popular destination for families and water sports enthusiasts.

Talland Bay

Talland Bay is a small and secluded beach located on the South East Cornwall coast. The area is known for its stunning natural beauty, and visitors can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or exploring the nearby coves and rock pools.

Whitsand Bay

Whitsand Bay is a long stretch of sandy beach that runs from Rame Head to Portwrinkle. The beach is popular with surfers, and is known for its large waves and strong currents
