Barricane Bay

Visit Barricane Bay

Barricane Beach is a lovely sand and shingle beach close to Morte Point on the North Devon coast.

Is is a popular spot in the summer with families, as it is great for a day sunbathing and exploring the rockpools. Alternatively there are great walks along the coast and abundant wildlife to enjoy.

Did you Know? The name ‘Barricane’ comes from the Caribbean, as many of the shells that have been washed up from the Caribbean on the Gulf Stream, can be found along the beach.
