Visit Little Beach
Just north of the Pier is Little Beach, in Berwick upon Tweed, on the Northumberland Coast. The sandy beach, is popular with dog walkers, and bird lovers.
Take a walk out along the pier to Berwick Lighthouse, if you are lucky you might spot some dolphins.
Did you Know? The shelter at Little Beach featured in a painting (cira 1935) by the artist, L.S.Lowry, and art lovers from around the country visit Berwick to view it. Follow in the footsteps of artist LS Lowry and check out the sites of many of his paintings.
Berwick-upon-Tweed is the starting place for the Northumberland Coastal Path.
