Fish Week 2013 packed with new events!

A fabulous haul of new events has been confirmed for this summer’s Pembrokeshire Fish Week festival.

Listed as one of the UK’s best food festivals by Conde Nast Traveller – and known as one of the tastiest festivals in Europe – this year’s festival will take place between the 22nd and 30th June.

Start your festival week at the Fish Week open day on the 22nd June at Milford Fish Docks. The event will have a host of fresh faces and activities including new chefs, demos, music and activities.

Get hands on at one of the fish cookery workshops with S4C chef Tim Maddams in the Valero marquee, or be inspired at an Angela Gray demonstration.

Don’t miss some tasty new dishes in the ‘Blas-y-tir’ Feast on Fish pop-up tent restaurant, where we will be joined by several new outlets.

Throughout the day enjoy performances on the live music stage, including those from Paper Aeroplanes and Samba Galez.

The following day, June 23rd, sees the return of the dance festival D13 at Milford Haven, sponsored by the Port of Milford Haven. This includes professional dance groups and new workshops from Ballet Cymru.

If you love your food, reserve your place at one of this year’s workshops at Pembrokeshire College, including Thai fish cookery and a Seafood Safari food trail, where you collect your catch from the local fishermen, learn filleting and cooking skills and end the night with a great fishy feast.

Join Celebrity Chefs Ravinder Bhogal, Angela Gray, Stephen Terry and Tim Maddams in the Torch theatre for ‘Fillies, Fellas and Fish’, guaranteed to be a lively evening of tales, tastes and techniques.
