Visit Holcombe Beach
Between Sprey Point and Parsons Tunnel, Holcombe Beach is your slice of seafront away from the crowds. It’s a bit of an adventure to get here, but it’s worth it!
You can either take a scenic walk along the seawall from Teignmouth (perfect for working up an appetite) or brave the steep Smugglers Lane by car.
Just a heads up – parking can be a bit tricky, so arrive early to get a spot!
The star of the show – the beach kiosk. Hidden at the base of the cliff, it’s like finding a treasure chest! The folks are super friendly and they’ve got some cool features like a beach bucket library. Borrow a bucket, build a sandcastle, then return it for the next visitor.
For all the dog owners, furry friends are welcome all year round on Holcombe beach. They’ll love the freedom to roam and splash about.

Holcombe Beach Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome all year round, with no seasonal restrictions.
Leads are advised on Smugglers Lane, as the access road is steep and narrow. Once on the beach, well-behaved dogs often enjoy off-lead time.
Calm, uncrowded, and very popular with local dog walkers.
