Visit Limeslade Bay
Limeslade Bay is a small rocky cove just next to Bracelet Bay near Mumbles Pier, in Swansea. While the beach may all but disappear during high tide, when the water recedes, you’ll be greeted with a vast area of rock pools and sandy area to enjoy.
Follow the steps down to the beach for fishing, beachcombing, and exploring the surrounding cliffs. On a hot summers day and stop in a Fortes Cafe for their famously good ice cream.
To the west side of the beach there is a car park with a children’s adventure playground and a grassy area with benches and picnic tables along the seafront.
There is a scenic cliff top coastal path from Limeslade Bay along to Langland Bay, which is a lovely walk about half a mile. This path offers great views of the Gower Peninsula and the Bristol Channel.
Limeslade Bay has dog restrictions in place from May 1st to September 30th, dogs are not permitted on the beach. However, outside of this period, dogs are allowed, making it a dog-friendly destination during the off-peak months
