Foxhole Cove

Visit Foxhole Cove

Foxhole Cove, located in Swansea, is a small cove on the Gower Peninsula. It has a rocky shoreline and sandy areas at low tide, surrounded by the dramatic cliffs.

To reach the Cove, you must navigate a steep but manageable footpath (near the car park) that descends from the Pennard Cliffs. While the path may be challenging for some, the effort is rewarded with stunning views and a unspoilt beach experience.

The best time to go is at low tide, when there is some sandy area exposed, as at high tide the beach disappears.

Foxhole Cove is particularly popular among climbers, featuring a variety of sport climbing routes. The area is known for its accessibility and diverse climbing options, attracting both beginners and experienced climbers.
