Visit Epple Bay
Epple Bay is a small beach on the North Kent coast. Close to Birchington and Margate, this beach follows the concrete sea defence below the cliffs.
Epple Bay is suitable for swimming and paddling, although there are no lifeguard services available.
At low tide, a significant area of rocks and sand is exposed, revealing numerous rock pools that are perfect for exploration. However, as the tide rises, the beach can almost disappear.
Dogs are allowed on the beach year-round, making it a popular choice for locals.

Dogs are welcome year-round, with no restrictions.
Sandy stretches and cliff paths give dogs plenty to sniff. Leads are sensible near cliffs.
