Deal Beach on the Kent Coast is a quiet seaside resort with a lovely seafront promenade. Walk along the wide pebble beach with small fishing boats pulled up on the shingle.

After a long day by the sea, there are a good range of cafes, delicious ice cream parlour and restaurants, pubs along the seafront.

Did you Know? It’s possible to walk along the coast and see 3 castles within an hour.

The area is steeped in the mariner history of the East Kent boatmen, as well as an intriguing smuggling history. Overlooking the beach is the Tudor Deal Castle, a fascinating place to spend a couple of hours.
