Visit Deal Beach
Deal Beach on the Kent Coast is a quiet coastal town with a lovely seafront promenade. Walk along the wide pebble beach with small fishing boats pulled up on the shore.
It is suitable for families, with opportunities for children to play, paddle, and explore. There are also facilities nearby, including cafes and restaurants for refreshments.
The beach has a promenade that runs alongside it, perfect for leisurely strolls. Deal Pier extends into the sea and includes a café and fishing decks at the end, providing great views of the coastline.
After a long day by the sea, there are a good range of cafes, delicious ice cream parlour and restaurants, pubs along the seafront.
The beach is just a short walk from the historic town center of Deal, making it easily accessible for visitors.

The area is steeped in the mariner history of the East Kent boatmen, as well as an intriguing smuggling history. Overlooking the beach is the Tudor Deal Castle, a fascinating place to spend a couple of hours.

Deal Beach Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome at Deal Beach, but seasonal restrictions apply.
Dogs are not allowed 9am–6pm from May to September between Deal Castle and Sandown Castle. Dogs must be on leads on the promenade and pier all year.
Outside restricted times, dogs are welcome. A beach that rewards early risers.
