Eastoke Beach

Eastoke Beach (also known as Eastoke Corner) has pebbles and sand, and a grassy area for family picnics.

Chichester Avenue Beach

Chichester Avenue Beach opposite Chichester Avenue on the seafront just east of Beachlands. This is one of the more quiet beaches along the Hayling Island Seafront.

Gunner Point

Gunner Point Countryside Heritage Site on the South Western tip of Hayling Island has a wide open stretch of unspoilt beach with views over the harbour channel and out to the Solent.

Sandy Point Beach

Sandy Point Beach sits at the south eastern corner of Hayling Island, at the end of Braklesham Road. At the end of the sandy spit, is the Hayling Island Sailing Club (HISC).

The Promenade

Following the beachfront east from Eastoke, you will reach The Promenade on the south western tip of Hayling Island.

West Beach

West Beach is Haylings most popular beach, At high tide the waters can get deep quickly with the shelving of the beaches, at low tide the waters are usually shallow.

Family Friendly Sandy Beaches

The island has over 3 miles of sandy beaches along the seafront facing the Solent, including the award-winning Beachlands with its Blue Flag status.

The Birthplace of Windsurfing

Ideal for various water sports and recreational activities, Hayling Island is renowned as the birthplace of windsurfing, with excellent conditions for the sport. Sailing is also popular here with the sheltered harbours and open waters of the Solent.
