Silloth West Beach

Visit Silloth West Beach

Silloth West Beach once a bustling Victorian spa resort, is famous for its views looking out accross the Solway Firth.

Along the seafront runs a wide promenade lined with trees and steps straight down to the shingle beach. Watersports enthusiasts gather for boat races, jet-ski racing, sea canoeing, and there are facilities for sea fishing.

To the south of the town just passed the docks there is a vast stretch of sandy beach, backed by dunes.

Silloth is on on both the Cumbria Coastal Way and the Cumbria Cycle Way and there are plenty of facilities for holidaymakers and a variety of accommodation including B&Bs, hotels and holiday parks.

This beach is …

  • Dog friendly
  • Great for nature lovers

Have a great day out along the coast.
