Beckfoot Beach

Visit Beckfoot Beach

Beckfoot Beach, situated along the Cumbria coast, is a wide expanse of flat sand that is great for a bracing coastal walk. This region is designated as an area of Historic and Scientific Interest, and has been deemed an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the beach, the Solway Firth commands magnificent vistas that stretch all the way to the Dumfries and Galloway coast of Scotland.

You won’t find any fancy facilities here, but what the beach lacks in amenities it more than makes up for in natural splendour. It’s an ideal place to take your furry friend for a stroll and there are plenty of caravan parks nearby to choose from.
