Scenic Bardsea Beach on the Furness Peninsula with excellent views of the Lancashire coast. Bardsea Village is the ideal base for walking the Cumbrian Coastal Way, and has all the attractions of the Lake District National Park nearby. Explore the natural coastal scenery, stop in and have an ice cream at Chill & Grill.

Did you Know? If you take a walk above Bardsea village you will find the Birkrigg Stone Circle or Druids Circle, the only one of its kind in Cumbria.

There are strong currents here, so swimming is not recommended.

The area is home to the Ulverston Golf Club an 18 hole course with views over Morcambe Bay.

Bardsea beach is dog friendly and there is parking on the seafront along Coast Road for those taking a day trip.

There is plenty parking along the beach front.
