Tonfanau Beach

Visit Tonfanau Beach

A quiet unspoilt stretch of the Gywnedd coast Tonfanau Beach is a wonderful place to get away from the crowds. The beach is backed by an abandoned WW2 army training camp and rural countryside.

This part of the coast attracts cyclists, walkers, bird watchers and nature lovers. The beach itself is pebble and sand with rocky areas.

Walk inland and enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside or south along the beach to the Tonfanau Bridge leading down the coast to Tywyn.

There are no facilities here, so take a picnic.
