Cresswell Beach

Visit Cresswell Beach

Walking south along the beach from Druridge bay beach, you arrive at Cresswell beach. The stretch of coast has pristine sand and stunning dunes.

Cresswell is the beginning of the Northumbrian Coastal Route, the 62 mile path all the way to Berwick on Tweed.

The surrounding area is rural and unspoilt, but there is a Cafe for refreshments and a car park on the beach front

Follow a little further south along the coast and you reach the second beach in Cresswell, Broad Sands Rocks. This beach, smaller and rocky in part is backed by holiday park.

Great for long walks the beaches are dog friendly all year round.
