Visit Bamburgh Beach
Bamburgh beach, is an award-winning golden sandy beach on the Northumberlanad coast. The beach stretches for just under 3 miles and starts at Harkness Rocks, leading to Seahouses. This is a nice walk.
Often featuring on top 10 best beaches lists, it is overlooked by the stunning Bamburgh castle. A favourite with holiday makers, and visited all year by photographers looking for the picture postcard shot of the castle.
From the beach, there are spectacular views of Lindisfarne, Holy Island and the Farne Islands. These popular attractions are worth visiting when you are in the area.
Walk through the dunes, and explore the village and stop in at one of the three pubs, for some refreshments.
This wonderful wide open beach is also dog friendly all year round.
