Visit North Gare Beach
One of Hartlepools natural beaches North Gare is a sandy beach by North Gare Pier. Walk along the sand dunes and enjoy the natural surroundings of North Gare beach. There are lots of trails through the dunes or you can walk along the coast to Seaton Carew.
This sandy beach stretches south to the mouth of the River Tees and forms one part of the Teesmouth National Nature Reserve.
Behind the beach is Seaton common nature reserve, where walkers, bird watchers and nature lovers come to enjoy the wildlife and stunning scenery.
There is a free carpark in North Gare at the end of Seaton Lane S25 2DT
