Cleethorpes Beach in North East Lincolnshire is a popular seaside destination where the River Humber enters the North Sea.
The sandy beach stretches for four miles, and is popular with families during the holidays. There are loads of activities for children with theme park attractions and a leisure centre. Enjoy traditional seaside attractions such as donkey rides, a boating lake, and a paddling pool. You can also hire beach huts and deck chairs.
Cleethorpes central promenade runs the length of the seafront, with access points to the sand, making it wheelchair accessible. The promenade includes lots of things to do with cafes, restaurants, and amusement arcades.
Enjoy a stroll down the historic pier, built in 1872, or the Victorian gardens and waterfall.
Cleethorpes Beach is popular for a variety of water sports, including swimming, kayaking, jet-skiing, windsurfing, and paddleboarding. A lifeguard service operates during the peak season to ensure safety for beachgoers.
