Visit Newgale Beach
Newgale Beach, located in Pembrokeshire, is one of the most popular beaches in Wales, stretching nearly two miles along the stunning coastline.
Newgale is a haven for water sports enthusiasts, offering excellent conditions for surfing, kitesurfing, and windsurfing, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced surfers.
In the middle of the beach, visitors will find the Surf Club and parking facilities, and lifeguards are on duty during the peak season.
Surfboard and bodyboard rentals, as well as lessons, are available at the beach, particularly from the surf shop located at the northern end. The beach also features rock pools and caves to explore, especially at low tide, and visitors can walk to the adjacent Cwm Mawr beach when the tide allows.
The north of the beach is backed by a campsite, offering visitors the opportunity to stay right on the beachfront and soak up the stunning views.
From here, visitors can also walk the coastal path along the rugged cliffs, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Welsh coastline.
Newgale Beach tends to get quite crowded during peak season, especially in the summer months when families, surfers, and beachgoers flock to enjoy its expansive sandy area and excellent water sports conditions.
Newgale beach is mostly dog friendly all year round, only the centre section of the beach is restricted in the holiday season. The northern and southern sides of the beach, they are free to roam.
