Visit Portscatho Beach
Portscatho Beach is a small sandy beach with rocky outcrops with views over Gerrans Bay.
Like many of the harbours and fishing villages on this part of the coast, Portscatho was once famous for pilchard fishing. Wander through the charming narrow lanes with whitewashed houses, browse the local shops and enjoy a lazy lunch in this pretty coastal village . There are plenty of amenities, pubs, cafes and restaurants..
Portscatho is on the St Mawes – Portloe – Truro bus route which makes it a great base to explore the area.
