Hemmick Beach is a secluded sandy beach, reached bottom of a long narrow road from Boswinger west of Gorran Haven.

For those wanting a complete retreat, Hemmick Cottage, a charming holiday rental sits at the entrance to the beach.

Walkers can take the South West Coast Path down to Dodmans Point, and enjoy the natural beauty and scenic surroundings.

There are no facilities and no toilets, but there is a National Trust Car Park about a 10 minute walk away in of the old farming hamlet of Penare.
