Preston Beach is a red sandy beach just north of Paignton on the South Devon Coast.

There are beach huts lining the promenade, family friendly facilities, including deckchairs for hire and a safe areas for the children to play.

Preston Beach Dogs Policy

Dogs are welcome at at this beach, but seasonal restrictions apply.

Dogs are not allowed on Preston Beach from 1 May to 30 September.

Outside these dates, dogs can enjoy the beach freely. During restrictions, dogs must stay on a lead along the promenade.

Off-season visits are calmer and much more dog-friendly.
