Visit St Audries Bay Beach
St Audries Bay is a picturesque beach near Watchet in Somerset, with stunning sea-views wide open sand and pebble beach. The beach itself is a mix of sand, pebbles, shingle, and rocks. The wide bay is bordered by unstable cliffs primarily composed of mudstones, siltstones, and marls.
There are waterfalls at St Audries Bay! The beach features two notable waterfalls that cascade down the cliffs, with one of them being particularly impressive as it plunges directly onto the pebbled beach below.
Walk along the western side of the beach at low tide, you will find the famous St Audries waterfall, gushing down on to the beach.
The beach is backed by family holiday parks and accomodation. Visitors can access St Audries Bay via a path leading from the Home Farm Holiday Centre, which offers parking and basic amenities such as toilets and a small shop. The walk to the beach involves a 150-yard trek down a wide track followed by a short flight of steps.
Dogs are permitted on the beach at all times, making it a dog-friendly destination.
