Westward Ho! in north Devon is a traditional seaside resort with a long sandy beach, backed by a pebble ridge. The seaside resort, founded in the 1860’s, has been a favourite holiday spot eversince.

The beach is perfect for swimming, building sandcastles, and surfing.

There is lots to do, with family attractions including an amusement arcade, golf putting green, tennis courts, playground for the kids, beach shops, and a choice of places to eat and drink.

There are also great walks to take at nearby Kipling Tor (named after Rudyard Kipling) or explore the Northam Burrows Country Park.

Fancy a round of Golf? head to the Royal North Devon Golf club, or grab your surfboard and take to the waves.
