Visit Mawgan Porth Beach
Mawgan Porth beach is a popular surfing location and award winning UK beach holiday destination on the North Cornwall coast. The sandy cove is enclosed by the cliffs and the River Menalhyl flows across the beach into the sea.
It is the perfect place to learn to surf and enjoy the water, walk the South West Coast Path, or for those interested in the history of the area, there is a 13th century church, in St Mawgan Village.
It is just a half a hour’s walk along the coast path to Bredruthen Steps, a great way to take in the breathtaking cliff top views.

Mawgan Porth has two 4 star hotels with sea views. On the clifftop overlooking the beach is the Scarlet Hotel with a spa, and stunning sea views which can be enjoyed from the outdoor hot tubs.
Bedruthan Steps Hotel a 4-star boutique hotel has a luxury spa and restaurant, offers wonderful views out over the Altantic.
There are campsites, touring parks and holiday accommodation close to the beach.
