Southwick Beach

Visit Southwick Beach

Southwick beach, just east of Shoreham beach on the border of East and West Sussex is predominantly pebbled with some sand at low tide.

Southwick beach is safe for swimming, and each year between May and the end of September there is a designated swimming zone, marked with buoys.

Did you Know? The River Adur flows out to sea at the boundary between Southwick and Shoreham-by-Sea.

For refreshments stop in at the Carats Cafe Bar on the seafront.
