Visit Hythe Beach

Hythe Beach is a popular pebble beach on the Kent coast with views overlooking the English Channel.

Walk along the promenade which backs the beach or take The Royal Military Canal Path, a walk which forms part of the Saxon Shoreway.

Stop off for lunch at the Hythe Bay Seafood Restaurant and have a traditional cod and chips or stay for the weekend in Victorian grandeur on the seafront at the Hythe Imperial Hotel. Golf lovers can enjoy the hotel’s nine hole course situated between the canal and the beach.

Hythe Beach is also a popular spot for fishing and windsurfing, just along the beach is the Hythe and Saltwood Sailing Club.
