Small Hope Beach

Visit Small Hope Beach

Small Hope Beach is just north of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. The sandy beach is backed by colourful beach huts below the cliffs.

Popular with families during the holidays, with ice cream and sun loungers available for hire. You can swim safely here and there are plenty of facilities nearby. This beach is ideal for swimming due to its gentle slope, making it a safe choice for families with children.

This beach is part of the “Bay Area,” which stretches from Shanklin to Yaverland. The beach tends to be quieter than the main Shanklin beach, making it a great spot for relaxation.

Head up to the end of the beach and have a coffee and some lunch right on the seafront.

This is a great watersports location too. Sailing paddleboarding and windsurfing.

There is parking at the southern end of the beach.
