Visit Llanfairfechan Beach
Llanfairfechan, a popular seaside town and Blue Flag award-winner is a great place to spend a weekend away.
The large pebble beach is popular with families in the summertime and has grassy picnic area with both a children’s play area and model boating lake.
Nature lovers can enjoy the fantastic views of Anglesey, the Menai Strait and the Great Orme. Close by is the North Wales Coastal Path and Traeth Lafan nature reserve which is extremely popular with bird watchers. Walk along the promenade or the Snowdonia National Park nearby.
This beach is great for a watersports including swimming, surfing, sea canoeing, sailing (there is a sailing club here), windsurfing and fishing.
Dog friendly all year, but restricted from 1st May and 30th September between the 2 slipways extending down from the promenade to the Low Water Mark
