Porth Cwyfan

Visit Porth Cwyfan

Porth Cwyfan is a charming beach to visit on the Anglesey coast. Looking out across the beach, situated on a tiny island called Cribinau is St Cwyfan’s Church (sometimes referred to as the “little church in the sea”). As the tide comes in, the church is only accessible by boat.

Explore the beach, take in the views of the church, and enjoy the surrounding landscape. The area is also suitable for walking and birdwatching, making it a great destination for nature lovers.

While the area is largely rural, the Anglesey Circuit, also known as Trac Môn, is a notable exception. Not far from Porth Cwyfan, this modern motor racing circuit hosts a variety of motorsport events, including car and motorcycle racing. A unique venue for motorsport enthusiasts, the circuit is set against a dramatic backdrop of the Irish Sea and Snowdonia.
