Visit Scarborough North Bay
Scarborough award winning North Bay beach is is a flat sandy beach a little quieter than neighbouring Scarborough South Bay.
The beach is popular with families with beach chalets available for hire and great for water sports including surfing and windsurfing.
Attractions on the beachfront include the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, to the north of the beach is the award winning Sea Life Marine Sanctuary where you can see penguins, seals, sea horses, otters, octopus and even sharks. There are also historical sites such as Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum to discover.
To the North of the Bay there are rocky outcrops great for rockpooling at low tide.
The beach is patrolled by an RNLI qualified lifeguard service during the summer season
There is a wide range of visitor accommodation and facilities from hotels to campsites and high street chains and top restaurants.
