Sheringham Beach is stone beach that disappears at high tide and when the tide goes out, reveals a lovely wide stretch of golden sand and rock pools to explore. Sheringham, once a small Norfolk fishing village until the late 1800’s with the arrival of railway, which brought visitors from around the country.

It is an ideal destination for families as the are plenty of amenities. Along the clifftop are colourful beach huts, with cafes, amusement arcades and a public shower!. In 2017 Sheringham Beach was awarded Blue Flag status, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, as well as water quality.

Tourists and locals alike enjoy the Norfolk events that takes place every summer.

Sheringham has free on-street parking and parking close to the beach.
