Visit Heacham Sands
The beach at Heacham Sands (or Stubborn sands), famous for its sunsets, is large flat sand beach on the Norfolk coast. It is a west facing beach situated on the banks of ‘The Wash’ offering amazing views.
A popular coastal resort with families and holidaymakers in the summertime the beach is backed by holiday parks with chalets and static caravans.
For a great walk take the scenic route along the sea front promenade along to Hunstanton Sands.
On the north side of the beach is the Searles Resort Golf Club where golfers can enjoy a round with amazing coastal surroundings.
Did you Know? Heacham also has historic ties to Pocahontas, who married John Rolfe in 1614. The Rolfes are buried in the Heacham Church.
Heacham Sands is dog friendly all year round.

Heacham Sands Dogs Policy
Dogs are allowed year-round.
From May to September, and during nesting season (March–August), leads are strongly advised.
Stay clear of roped nesting zones for plovers and oystercatchers.
