Thorney Bay Beach, located on Canvey Island in Essex, is a small, sheltered sandy beach along the Thames Estuary.

Behind the beach is a park and gardens, with open grassy areas for picnics and a children’s playground.

Stop in for a bite to eat at the seafront cafe or take sandwiches for the picnic benches.

To the eastern side of the beach is the Thorney Bay Caravan Park.

Threre is a pay and display car park by the beach at the end of Thorney Bay Road leading to Western Esplanade.
