Visit Blackpool North Shore Beach
Blackpool North Shore beach is a sandy beach on the Lancashire Coast. It runs from North Pier towards Bispham.
North Shore is the oldest section of Blackpool’s promenade, maintaining much of its original character and layout over the years.
Most of the beach is backed by Jubilee Park and Gardens, with tranquil rock garden and places to sit and relax.
By North Pier, has some of the best views of Blackpool’s promenade and the illuminations, from the end of the pier.
As you head northwards along the beach, you will see the Formula Kart Go Karting track, it is right on the beachfront, at 1 Queen’s Promenade.
The promenade along North Shore provides beautiful views of the coastline and the Irish Sea, for visitors who enjoy walking or cycling along the beach.
For refreshments, stop in at the Hole in the Wall cafe, which overlooks the beach. A lovely spot on a sunny afternoon. It is opposite Gynn Square Carpark, so if you park there, it is just across the road.
If you like to play golf by the sea, the popular Blackpool North Shore golf club is 5 minutes away.
Dogs are allowed on the beach north of the North Pier all year round, providing ample space for them to run and play.
