Porthmelgan Beach

Visit Porthmelgan Beach

Follow the coastal path north from Whitesands bay towards St Davids Head and you will reach Porthmelgan Beach. This secluded sandy cove can only be reached from the coast path. There are no facilities here and the land behind is rural.

As with much of this stretch of coast there are strong currents and can be dangerous to swim too far out. On a warm day though, it is ideal for paddling about.
