Gwbert-on-Sea, often simply referred to as Gwbert, is a small coastal village located in Ceredigion, Wales, at the mouth of the River Teifi.
Gwbert village is perched on cliffs overlooking Cardigan Bay, providing stunning views of the coastline and the estuary.
There are actually several small coves, each with its own charm. Morgan’s Beach, the most popular of the three beaches, Morgan’s Beach features a modest sandy area surrounded by dark shale cliffs. Access is via steps carved into the rocks.
Evelyn’s Beach Located closest to the village, this beach is primarily made up of pebbles and is the easiest to access. Cowley Beach is a narrow, rocky inlet with some sandy areas, Cowley Beach lies between Morgan’s and Evelyn’s beaches and is also accessed by steps.
