Visit Duporth Beach
Duporth Beach is a quiet sand and shingle beach with rock pools exposed at low tide.
Above the cliffs that back the beach, once a holiday resort until its closure in 2006, are private houses an new developments.
Duporth means ‘Two Coves’ in Cornish.
Along the northeatern end of the beach you will find the WW2 Crinnis Cliff Gun Battery, which sits along the South West Coast Path.
There are no facilities or parking, the nearest being at Porthpean and Charlestown.
