Visit Budleigh Salterton
Budleigh Salterton is a seaside town in South Devon, between Exmouth and Sidmouth. Located on the Jurassic coastline in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seaside Award winning Budleigh beach is a long pebble beach close to the town centre.
Family friendly with refreshment kiosks, beach huts, children’s play area with a skate park, public toilets along the seafront.
Hire a wetsuit and explore the coastline from here by kayak or try stand up paddle boarding (SUP).
At the eastern end of the beach it joins the Otter Valley wetland nature reserve, where you can take the South West Coast Path.
There is a naturists area here too, at the far western end of the beach, look out for the signs!
Dogs are not allowed on the centre of the beach between May 1st and September 30th but are are allowed all year round, at either end, east from Lime Kiln carpark, and west from the west end of the promenade.
