Visit Budleigh Salterton
Budleigh Salterton is a seaside town in South Devon, between Exmouth and Sidmouth. Located on the Jurassic coastline in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seaside Award winning Budleigh beach is a long pebble beach close to the town centre.
Family friendly with refreshment kiosks, beach huts, children’s play area with a skate park, public toilets along the seafront.
Hire a wetsuit and explore the coastline from here by kayak or try stand up paddle boarding (SUP).
At the eastern end of the beach it joins the Otter Valley wetland nature reserve, where you can take the South West Coast Path.
There is a naturists area here too, at the far western end of the beach, look out for the signs!

Budleigh Salterton Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome at Budleigh Salterton Beach, but seasonal restrictions apply.
Dogs are banned from 1 May to 30 September between South Parade and Lime Kiln car park. Dogs are allowed year-round at both ends of the beach. Leads are required on the esplanade at all times.
Winter walks here are a local dog-owner favourite.
