Visit Broadsands
Broadsands is a red sandy beach, backed by beach huts and views of the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway viaduct in the hills. This rural beach is a popular with families during the summer season, and has good swimming conditions, and basic amenities. On sunny days there are deckchairs available, and pedalos and boats for hire.
Did you Know? There is a Neolithic tomb on the hillside overlooking Broadsands Beach.
Dog friendly in the winter restricted during the summer from 1 May and 30 September.

Broadsands Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome at at this beach, but seasonal restrictions apply.
Dogs are banned from Broadsands between 1 May and 30 September.
From autumn to spring, it’s a lovely open space for beach strolls. Dogs must stay on leads on the promenade during the restricted months.
Winter walks come with railway views and fewer distractions.
