Axmouth Harbour

Visit Axmouth Harbour

Axmouth Harbour Beach, a peaceful retreat just a 15-minute walk along the coast from Seaton Beach. This pebble beach, located at the mouth of the River Axe.

Enjoy the pleasant working harbour, watching local boats come and go, adding to the area’s charm. The beach is excellent for fishing, and bass fishing. Deep sea fishing trips are also available for those looking to venture further out.

You’ll find a fishing and tackle shop that offers kayaks and canoes for sale, as well as places to get coffee and snacks.

There are great opportunities for crabbing along the harbour wall as well.

For those interested in exploring the surrounding area, the Haven Cliff Nature Reserve is located on the eastern side of the River Axe. Adventurous visitors might be interested to know that there’s a nudist section further down the beach.

Free parking is available on the road near the harbour, adding to the convenience for visitors.
