Church Cove Landewednack

Visit Church Cove Landewednack

Church Cove Landewednack is a tiny beach, in the civil parish of Landewednack on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall.

The small, stony beach surrounded by stunning serpentine cliffs. The beach itself is quite charming, especially at low tide when you can see more of the sandy areas. It’s perfect for a peaceful day by the sea, and the views are absolutely breathtaking!

The water is clear, making it great for a quick dip on a sunny day. You can bring your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater world. There are some fantastic rock pools.

After you’ve soaked up some sun, you might want to take a stroll to St Wynwallow’s Church, which is just a short walk away. It’s one of the oldest churches in the area, and the most southerly church on the British mainland. The architecture is beautiful, and it’s a nice spot to take a moment and appreciate the history.

If you are walking the South West Coast Path you can either head north to the Devils Frying pan or south to Lizard point.
