Visit Berrow Beach
Stunning Berrow Beach on the Somerset coast, is a part of a scenic seven-mile stretch of sand extending from Burnham-on-Sea to Brean Down.
The beach entrance has public toilets, and visitors can grab a drink or a bite to eat at the Sundowner Cafe and bar. You can park your car on the beach, or park at the nature reserve and walk through the dunes to the beach.
Enjoy long walks on the beach, go windsurfing or sea angling, and even horse riding!
Walk south and you will see the wreck of the SS Nornen, which is exposed at low tide. This section of the beach is usually quieter, even on hot summer days. Note that when the tide goes out, mud flats are exposed and the sand can get a bit muddy, so take care when walking along.
This beach is dog-friendly all year round, so they can enjoy the wide open space unrestricted.
