Visit Tunnels Beach
Blue flag award winning Tunnels Beach in Ilfracombe North Devon is a famous Victorian holiday resort, and must see attraction when visiting the area. The tunnels, hand carved in the 1820’s, lead to two natural bathing pools, originally one for ‘ladies’ and one for ‘gentlemen’.
Did you Know? The left side takes you to the ‘Gent’s Beach’ and the right takes you to ‘Lady’s Beach.
Perfect for the whole family, with the tidal pools to enjoy and top class rock pools to explore. There is a small charge at the entrance of Tunnels Beach, but plenty of amenities, with cafes and snack bars.
Driving to Ilfracombe and follow the signs to the Seafront and Tunnels Beaches.
