Visit Swanage Central Beach
Swanage Central Beach on the Dorset coast, is an award winning sandy beach perfect for swimming and a day out with the family.
This popular tourist destination has lots on offer along the promenade and diving, sailing and windsurfing are popular here.
To the southern end of the beach is the beautiful Victorian Pier, built in 1896 to accommodate the paddle steamers.
The area by the pier is also known for being one of the best scuba diving areas on the south coast. Dive clubs and schools as well as individuals regularly dive to see the marine wildlife and wrecks in the area.
