Monmouth Beach just to the West of Lyme Regis and the famous Cobb Harbour running towards Pinhay Bay.

This seaside resort area is part of the Jurassic Coast, The beach is popular with fossils hunters and famous for the Ammonite Graveyard on the beach. This is limestone pavement with hundreds of giant ammonites embeded in it.

Did you Know? The beach is named after The Duke of Monmouth, who landed there with his troops in 1865.

There is a carpark right on the seafront, and beach huts available for hire making it an ideal location for families.
